Wonderful Vintage ‘Gnome’ Gold Iron Projector with Independent Bespoke Bakelite Light and Switch.
I love old electrical equipment as the earlier pieces, like this, are always so stylish.
This one is beautiful, a lovely curved shape could mean this is maybe pre-war I'm not sure. I love the chrome motif to the side.
There's a good weight to it so I assume it is made of iron.
There are what looks like 2 slide holders that come with it.
I'm selling this as not working as it had no plug to it, and to be honest, I have very limited knowledge of these products. So I'm going to say I am only selling this as a decorative item.
When I bought this the bakelite switch and fitment came in the box and I can only assume that whoever operated the machine would turn off and on the light nearby for the purposes of projecting the images. Again I have no idea if it works, so assume it does not. Although it might.
