How long will it take for me to receive my item?
For most of our items, we aim to process and dispatch orders within 3-4
working days. We mainly use delivery providers who in turn offer a 2-3 day service.
For larger or more delicate items, we will opt for hand delivery couriers who will take
between 1-2 weeks to get the item to you.
What delivery providers do you use?
We mostly use Royal Mail and Parcelforce for our standard deliveries.
Proovia or another local provider for larger items.
Will the lamps I buy be safe to use?
Where possible we PAT test our lamps, but we are not electricians and will
always advise that you get vintage items checked, tested or upgraded as required.
Is it safe for you to send mirrors in the post?
We have an excellent record of safe delivery of mirrors. All efforts are made
to ensure their safety. If they do break during transit we will refund you in full.
What condition are your items in?
All our items are second-hand and may show signs of previous use. We
carefully inspect each piece and provide detailed descriptions and photographs to
highlight any noticeable wear or damage.
Are the items cleaned before sale?
Yes, all items are cleaned and sanitized before being listed for sale. We
ensure they are in good condition and ready for immediate use upon delivery.
Where we think an item may need a further clean, we aim to state this in the
description.
Can I see the item in person before buying?
Unfortunately this is not possible, but if the item is not suitable we do offer
a returns policy.
Do you offer delivery services for large items?
Yes, we offer delivery services for all our large items. Delivery charges are
based on your location and the size of the item. Free delivery may be available for
certain purchases.
Can I return an item if I’m not satisfied?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described
or if there are any issues not mentioned in the listing, or if you have changed your
mind. Please refer to our returns policy for detailed information on how to initiate a
return.
How can I pay for my purchase?
We use Stripe for our payment processing. Please refer to Stripe’s terms
and conditions for any further information.
Do you offer any warranties or guarantees on your furniture?
As our items are second-hand, we do not offer traditional warranties.
However, we guarantee that all items are as described in the listings. If you
encounter any issues, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
Can I sell my vintage items to you?
Unfortunately we do not offer a buy service. There are plenty of auctions,
clearance people or other sellers online who might.
How often do you get new inventory?
We update our inventory regularly. New items are added to our website
weekly, so be sure to check back often or follow us on social media for news on new
arrivals.
Do you offer customization or restoration services?
We offer limited restoration services for certain items. If you’re interested
in customization or restoration, please contact us with your requirements, and we’ll
let you know if we can accommodate your request.
Is it possible to reserve an item?
Yes, you can reserve an item by placing a non-refundable deposit. The item
will be held for a specified period, usually up to 7 days, to give you time to complete
the purchase.
What measures do you take to ensure sustainable practices?
We are committed to sustainability. By selling second-hand items, we help
reduce waste and promote the reuse of quality items. Additionally, we ask
customers to recycle as much packaging as possible. We will also use second hand
packaging materials wherever possible.
