A practical and nostalgic piece, this vintage folding table features a textured green felt top and a classic square form—perfect for card games, puzzles, crafts, or pop-up retail settings. Likely dating to the 1950s or 60s, this table offers both simplicity and charm with a utilitarian edge.
The folding legs are made of hardwood, square in profile, and held securely in place with retro-style metal brackets that clip into the underside with a simple push-to-lock mechanism. The legs collapse neatly, making it easy to store or transport, and the frame itself shows traditional joinery.
As you can see there is general wear to the wood finish.
The green felt playing surface has aged gently with some minor mottling and a few light marks visible in close-up, but it remains smooth and functional overall. The tabletop sits firm and flat with no sag, while the frame is solid and structurally sound.
On the hole the baize is well preserved and original, you can probably just about make out in the images there is a large patch to the centre which is slightly darker and also to one of the sides there are also some minor areas where it is a little bit tough, but I'm sure this can be improved with a good clean.
Most of these card tables are quite rickety due to their design with no joints and thin legs, however I have to say for the age this one is pretty sturdy
This would make a wonderful occasional table, spare table for gatherings, or simply a charming mid-century feature for a vintage-styled interior or garden room. It’s lightweight but sturdy, folds down compactly, and oozes character with its aged materials and honest patina.
