Vintage Upcycled Hand Painted Metal Standard Lamp in Farrow and Ball Light Blue Working
I bought this lamp because it is a lovely shape, but the finish had quite a lot of wear and was dated.
I applied an undercoat and three top coats of Farrow and Ball Borrowed Light Estate Eggshell, which is a beautiful light blue colour.
I have then gone over the finish with some wire wool so the light grey metal (maybe aluminium) underneath shows through and leaves a nice contemporary shabby chic finish.
This was PAT tested in 2022 and in perfectly good working order.
