This beautiful vintage wooden bench featuring a floral tapestry upholstered seat and elegant Queen Anne-style cabriole legs, would be a lovely vintage accent piece in a home. Perfect for hallways, bedrooms, dressing rooms, or as an occasional stool, this piece brings both character and function to any space.

It is likely a 1930s/40s revival piece in classic Queen Anne style with its wonderful curved legs and balled feet. It is made out of solid oak which has a wonderful rich patina and aged character. The upholstered seat is easy to remove and recover should you wish, but still bears its original needlepoint which is a soft pretty pastel tone floral tapestry. The tapestry is affixed by metal pins and sits neatly in the frame.

The oak bench frame has been refurbished to a certain level so that it retains its charm and character, without becoming too pristine. The tapestry has been dusted but not refurbished. It has a few small holes in the tapestry from years of wear and use - see photos. It is a charming pretty colourful piece of needlepoint.

This bench is very pretty and solid. It would look charming in a hallway, or bedroom. Ripe for a bit of tlc and refurb perhaps, but similarly lovely to keep as is. Please see photos.
