Vintage Tapestry Oak Fire Screen Fox Hunter
A stunning mid-20th century solid oak fire screen with a gentleman fox hunter jumping over a fence.
The oak frame has the traditional dark stain to it and on the whole is very well preserved and in good condition. Importantly it is sturdy.
The fire guard still has its protective glass.
The actual tapestry has faded a little but actually I think this really adds to the age worn feel and authenticity of it. It has a boarded backing and a small metal handle to the rear.
