This is a delightful hand painted vintage table lamp. A candelstick holder style, but unusually it has a square base and stem - not the normal round type. It is white ceramic with gold detail and is beautifully hand painted with butterflies and plants. Very pretty. THe ceramic base is in excellent condition with minor blemishes on the rim from manufacturing. No chips or cracks or crazing. The handpainted decoration is still in vgc. Gorgeous in fact. The white candle mimicking stem does have some marks on it, commensurate with age and the brass fittings and finishes have some markings and pitting too but nothing to worry about. The flex is in good condition and as the lamp is late 90s meets all required standards, but it is the original wiring. Lamp is working fine and I have had it on for a few hours. We do advise all vintage lamps to be tested and or upgraded. Wonderful lamp for your home.
