Vintage Sturdy Mahogany Double Piano Stool with Storage Compartment Tapestry Seat. I would imagine this was made in the 1960s or 70s. It is very good quality being made of mahogany. The actual design is quite simple but elegant with the tapered legs. The tapestry to the actual tapestry seat is very well preserved however as you will see to the edges where the tapestry ends it is just a cloth of some sort and this has worn to the areas of where legs and hands would have consistently rubbed. You can take a view on this as age worn and it doesn't really matter, it still looks lovely after all. Alternatively you can recover. The actual seat is secured underneath by 6 screws so quite easy to undo and put your own cover on. Benefits from a double music sheet storage compartment. This is both an elegant and pretty piano store yes the material to the sides are worn but the wood on the whole is very well preserved with just a few surface marks and the tapestry is fine.
