A piece of nostalgia but also a very practical storage box. A hard cardboard box with belt and buckle, made by Enfield Box Co. for Harold Road & Ridge Launderers and Dry Cleaners. I think from the 1950s. Maybe earlier. This was clearly once used to house a laundered christening gown - and possibly other special items. It can now still be used for such. Baby clothes, albums, trinkets, other memorabilia. A great vintage way to store something special. OR perhaps you are from Hastings, know Harold Road, like the idea of something from that area on display in your home, or office. I suspect there are a few reasons to buy this box.
