A cute painted pine wall cupboard with chicken wire aesthetic and three drawers.
You could almost call this a shabby chic collectible these days.
When painted furniture first came into fashion, gosh nearly 30 years ago now, it was really fashionable too utilise chicken wire for mainly door panelling but would also be used through other purposes.
So this is probably from about then. It is made of solid pile so is off good quality.
All made of solid pine including the backing.
The three drawers are clean, deep and run well with lovely cupped handles.
The door also opened and closed as well and has the very trendy chicken wire panelling.
It has been painted in a dark green and areas have been sanded to expose the white undercoat and some of the wood underneath giving a really lovely trendy shabby chic finish.
As with anything that is being hand painted there are imperfections to the finish and on the shelves there are some clear surface marks where you can see the white underneath.
This is a delightful cupboard and will suit many purposes.
