Wonderful solid oak with leather seat vintage stool. A 1950s mid-century oak stool - perfect for those weary legs, little people or as a surface place for bits and pieces in your living room or office - oh yes and somewhere for the cat to sit! The wooden frame has beautiful turned legs and strong supports; it has the original leather seat and upholstery - see the underside strapping. Lovely deep iron metal pins affixing the leather to the stool. Great ruby red colour. Ready to use!

Smashing solid and sturdy stool. It really does have so many uses. A lovely vintage accent piece for your room. Great to brighten up a corner, or perhaps blend into a room of deeper hues already. Standing next to a fireplace, a corner or alongside your sofa as a footstool - all great places to show it off. Great size and I say, lovely and solid.

The leather is the original and it is marked - you can see a black hue across the top. I have tried to clean it, but it hasn't budged. Same as the wood - as solid as the day it was made, but scuffed and scratched in places. If you want a pristine footstool then this won't be for you, but if you want an original vintage piece with age and charm, then you don't get much better than this! All the original bits. And Yes marking all commensurate with age.
