A superb smaller wool rug, could be a vintage Turkish prayer mat. Still large enough to stand a coffee table on, or have in the entrance hall, or by a fire or sofa. Delicately woven into an attractive design - reminiscent of arabic architecture and beautiful carvings. The bold colours are still very vibrant. The lovely pattern has some areas which are less woven and have a more needlework tapestry type appearance. Gives it lots of different dimensions.
Quite likely machine made, although I am not sure. Small tufts of wool. Lovely fringe. Has been cleaned, but you may wish to clean it again. Perfectly usable as is though.
Not too heavy in weight so easy to move around and to transport. Please see photos for more info.
