Vintage silver plate table lamp - silver and ornate. Working condition. Candelstick Holder Style.

Not often you see silver plate vintage table lamps. This may well be an upcycled silver plate candelstick holder turned into a table lamp - and done very well. It is ornate and lovely. Has pretty engraved/moulded detail encircling the base and up the stem and then around the top lip too. Very attractive. As is common with silver plate, this metal has tarnished. It has an antique look and feel to it, and this adds to its authenticity. It can of course be cleaned up - I believe you tube etc have lots of videos on how to do this if you desired. It is in great condition in spite of the tarnish - no chips, dents, cracks etc. It has a green underfelt to prevent scratching. The cable is long and does look vintage although the plug is newer. The lamp is sold in working condition and has worked as is for many years. As with all vintage electrical items, we advise checking, testing and or upgrading the wiring.
