Vintage Sherborne Faux Fur White Wooden stool - 1970s/80s

Here you have a super Sherborne Pouffes Poufs original - from the late 1970s/early 1980s a retro stool, made by Sherborne for the retro home. Classic retro shape - the tapered legs (four of them) and a faux fur top! Super funky design. This particular stool has the original faux fur top and of course the original legs - it could do with a bit of tlc, but definitely a keeper for anyone who loves a bit of retro chic.

The faux fur cover is a little loose which makes it great for washing (and I have washed the cover for you), but it may need to be elasticated again or given a pleat or two as it does move on the foam cushion when in use - making it a little squiff after use. The Foam cushion is the original and is loosing a bit of puff and bits.

Gorgeous wooden white/cream painted tapered legs - the show case retro looking legs are in great condition and still very solid. They are scratched and scuffed in places as you would expect. But are not so bad as to warrant any work - at least that is my view. I would seek to attend the seat more than the legs.

So a super retro stool made by the very sound and fabulous Sherborne. Definitely 70s/80s. Could do with tlc on the seat in particular, but thereafter - very much lots of life in it. Labelled underside to show authenticity.
