Vintage sewing basket - superb 1970s material jacquard satin basket on faux wooden legs, storage basket, storage box, sewing box

A really lovely attractive sewing box / basket on legs. Treasure chest like. Material covered box / basket with stunning bold yellow satin lining and pin cushion lid, sat upon what looks like wooden cabriole legs, but they are faux wood aka plastic. Just completely quirky and different. For a sewing buff this is a great retro sewing box - just a little bit different to a wooden one. It could of course be reupholstered but the current covering is absolutely fine - it is slightly misfitting on the top on one side and of course there are some minor marks commensurate with age, but the fabric is in good condition. The tassles are a little loose in some places and the odd thread threatens to do some unravelling, but if you are a sewing whizz then no doubt you will be able to find a way to fix this. The plastic legs have occasional marks on them, but nothing untoward. The inside of the box is in super condition and the label Made in England is still present. The underside is light ply wood. Great little retro item.
