Vintage Set of 6 Top Quality Rush Seated Solid Oak Frame Chairs Upcyled FREE HAND Delivery

When I bought these beautiful chairs they had many years of use evident on the finish and needed a good clean. Much of the original finish had been compromised.

I have wire woolled over all of the wood to remove probably 95% of the marks and to varying degrees the original finish. There are areas where the majority of the finish has been cleaned away and indeed in places down to the bare wood.

There are other places where much of the original finish remains. What I'm getting at is they have been cleaned up and the current finish is inconsistent, but looks great.

The beauty of this is they now have a wonderful age worn look to them. A real rustic charm. I would personally leave them as they are, however with much of the finish now gone this has also created a surface where you do not really need to prime should you wish to paint them, or you can just oil or polish onto the wood as is.

A few water marks and other stains are evident but the general appearance as you can see is very good.

The rush seats all to the top all intact and in good condition, to the underneath there are a few minor blemishes. These can be screw to the frames however at the moment they are loose, they really do not need to be attached as the weight of them and the design of the chairs keeps him safely in situ.

The frames are absolute superb. Fantastic quality being made of solid oak and of course therefore they remain completely solid. In an era when so many modern chairs won't last more than a year they still probably got a century in them still such is the quality.

Packs of rustic charm, superb quality, use as you see them or do your own thing to them. It is a remarkably good quality set of beautiful country kitchen chairs which would look great in the kitchen or dining room

This will be delivered by hand by a proper furniture courier.
Delivery is free to mainland England and Wales only.
There will be a cost anywhere else so please, contact us for a quote.
This will cost us between £60-80 so if you wish collect from Lewes in East Sussex we will refund the saved courier charges.
The couriers will arrange a day and time window with you.
Delivery is to the front door. Should the item be large the courier will need a hand your end or contact us and we will arrange a more expensive two man delivery.
It will take about 2 weeks.
