Wonderful mid-century round mirror with wrought iron scrollwork around the outside. The mirror itself is convex. The painted scrollwork is great quality and elegant - possibly a piece in French provincial revival style. It does look French to be fair. Has the original wooden back and original chain for hanging. Great small wall mirror, ready to hang.
The glass is in super condition with no cracks or chips. Minor signs of wear, and some signs of the painted finish. The painted scrollwork is cream and has got some scruffs and scrapes. Some red and darker cream show through in places. But the condition is still very good and this mirror can be hung up as is.
The scrollwork is very attractive and makes an ordinary small wall mirror all the more interesting. It is quality ironwork so all intact and well attached. The back and chain are good, some signs of paint and age to the chain.
What I can also say, is that the mirror is a very good picture! Lovely quality glass.
