This delightful vintage reupholstered footstool combines classic form with a bold contemporary twist. The sturdy wooden frame, likely dating from the 1950s–1960s, has been sympathetically updated with painted cabriole legs in a soft chalk-grey finish and a striking new fabric top. The vibrant yellow / green upholstery features a botanical and butterfly print, echoing the intricate natural motifs of William Morris–inspired design while adding a fresh, modern pop of colour. It is totally bold and delightful with its new fabric. The stool has a shabby chic finish to it with the chalk paint. Ready to use and delight in!

The stool is in excellent refurbished condition, solid and clean, with shabby chic minor wear to the painted base consistent with gentle use. It is both practical and eye-catching—a perfect statement accessory to brighten a living room, bedroom, or reading nook. The reupholstery is not a professional job which makes me suspect the original stool cushion material stills exists if you wanted to go true vintage? The uphsoltery job is very much home made using a staple gun - not professional if you peak underside, but perfectly adequate and not noticeable when the cushion is on the frame. Can of course be redone if you so wish.
The fun fabric make it conducive as a bold colourful accent in any room including living rooms, playrooms, bedrooms etc.
