Vintage Retro Hand Stripped Mid 20th Century Beech Expanding Workbox Needlepoint Needlework Storage.
This is a beautiful 1930s stripped workbox.
Judging by the interior it was originally painted in green and somebody has painstakingly stripped this. Looks like it must have been a rather miserable task to accomplish but the result is superb.
It is made of solid beech which is a hardwood and of top quality. The top surfaces are thick yacht board.
Chrome hinges throughout.
Green bakelite handles partially covered in black paint.
Metal and composite castors.
The contents are included.
The compartments pull out with ease. The bottom is fabric lined, the other compartments are painted.
This is a cracking piece of furniture, there are lots of these old ones on the market but this one is really well built I don't excellent quality
