Vintage Retro Frameless Shaped Art Deco Wall Mirror
These wonderful retro mirrors were made between the 1930s and 50s.
They are obviously framless, and held to the thick backing board with metal clips.
This would originally have had a chain to the back and hung the other way. There are so many of these frameless retro mirrors around so it's nice to find one that actually hangs the other way as someone has added a mirror plate to the top for wall attachment.
Thick original bevelled glass. As is customary there is blacking to the very edges where the silver reflective surface behind the glass has fallen victim to changes in the atmosphere, damp and heat etc, however importantly on the whole the reflection is very good, there are very few scratches which you normally find with these mirrors, and just a few black spots, which again are fairly customary with these sorts of mirrors. The edges are fine there is one absolute teeny chip that can only really be seen close up.
These mirrors are so stylish and having no frame they're actually very unobtrusive so will blend in with any type of décor.
