Vintage Retro Faux Onyx and Brass Table Lamp

A super combination – this faux onyx square based is simply charming. It is in great condition and has lovely colouring to it. It is quite geometric in look with a square base, rectangular stem but has some lovely detailed brass finishes where different sections meet. It is likely 1960s/early 70s – the lovely plastic lightbulb fitment suggests its age.
The colour combo is very attractive – the black and grey swirls draw attention to the lamp. can be dressed with a black or grey or cream shade to give it a more sultry appeal.
It is in great condition – there are marks of age to the lamp base, but as you will see in the photos, they are very minor and do not distract or detract from this lamp at all. The lamps is also working, but it has not been rewired. Advice is to test, check and or upgrade vintage electrics. It does however work as it has for decades.
Perfect for a cosy nook, hall way, bedroom, study. Just something that little bit different and a talking point – I mean ‘faux onyx’, what’s that all about?!
