Vintage Retro Drop Leaf Dining Table Chrome Legs Formica

I'm going to take a punt on this and say this table was made in the 1970s or 80s. It is very much a retro table in design and certainly not a modern reproduction as it is good quality.
The base metal is almost certainly chrome. I'm not up on my metals too much but it certainly has a chrome look and feel to it. If you look close up there is some pitting with small dots of rust what you do often get with chrome. The main legs and feet are a straight and standard size whereas the two pull out legs taper inwards towards the bottom.
I have given the chrome a going over with a kitchen scourer which is cleaned it up quite a bit but I'm sure if you actually spent some time it would clean and shine it up even further. I personally quite like they age worn look myself where there are areas of rust which shows this as a proper old retro table and not a reproduction!
The formica top has a grain effect design. This is well preserved. There is an area to the end of one the flaps to the side where the formica is missing which someone has filled in but does not look too bad.
To the other end of the table I have shown in the images when the flap is lifted up the joint is not totally uniform,
