These were mass-produced during the 1970s, but this one is a fairly rare example of one that has been beautifully preserved and is genuinely of superior quality.
The frame is made of pine—these are normally made out of thick plywood—which has been covered in a moulded composite with its original painted white finish and, unusually, silver highlights.
The main exterior frame has been braced with metal panels.
It offers adjustable side panels for different viewing angles, perfect for dressing tables. The central mirror tilts upwards and downwards.
This is incredibly well preserved, and its excellent condition means it is about as good as you will ever find for a mirror of this genre and age.
Because of the relative simplicity of the design, this will suit any type of décor—vintage, retro, or contemporary.
