Vintage Retro Art Deco Wall Mirror.
A fantastic art deco wall mirror. It would have began its life cycle on a dressing table and has been subsequently kept and the dressing table either turned into a chest of drawers or chucked.

It is a lovely thick glass which is well preserved. There are some black marks to the edges which you will normally see on any of these mirrors.

I know what you are thinking, like most other art deco mirrors like this, did the side panels originally have glass? The answer is no, there is absolutely no evidence that the metal clasps that hold the main mirror in place were ever used to the side parts, which also has a stained wooden finish which is original.
Sadly to the very tops of the wooden sides that is a piece of the hardboard missing, which you could easily touch up with a coloured pencil or felt pen.
The rear the original axis mechanism has been removed and a couple of brass mirror plates and string applied as a replacement, which you can of course upgrade or source an alternative.
