Smashing twosome! A quality heavy great condition white onyx lamp base, with a very good, made to measure, matching vintage bell shaped shade. The two just go perfectly together and shout 1980s! retro! vintage! The onyx base is in outstanding condition - no chips, cracks etc. White onyx with wonderful light detail and patterning within the stone. A creamy finish to it. The shade is ivory cream colour on the whole, but has much fringe and brading detail to it in beige, gold, cream - very well made and attractive. The shade is wonderfully lined. It does have marks to it and a little bit of fraying but honestly, it has worn well for its age and it is just too good to discard! The size and quality matches the base very well. I bought them as is, so I do believe they have always been an item.
