An unusual collection of three of the Old Masters paintings printed and mounted on hard board in true retro styling. Two paintings by Velazquez and one by Goya. All colourful and bold, and superbly typical of Spanish painters. The prints are quality and mounted like Athena boarded prints. The prints are not in perfect condition so the three pictures have a charming, aged and antique looking feel about them. They are all ready to be hung with rings.
The prints included : "The Surrender of Breda" by Diego Velazquez painted between 1634 and 1635 depicting the exchange of the key of Breda from the Dutch to the Spanish. "The Waterseller of Seville" (1618-1622) by Diego Velazquez - not that there is no eye contact with us or with other subjects in this painting. "The Crockery Vendor" 1779 by Francisco Goya - romanticism style - a slightly different way of choosing your china!
You will see in the photos and video that the prints have lost some of their edges and some have markings or scratches on them. The prints do however remain very attractive, soulful and rich in colour. The boards too have some rough edges but they are solid and are full attached to the remaining prints.
A quirky and interesting set of pictures to display.
Sizes : all 30 x 40cm (obvs two vertical and one horizontal so switch the numbers accordingly!)
