This is a lovely watercolour painting turned print. Beautifully painted with great detail bringing a Mediterranean (I think Italian) seaside village or town to life. The paved streets leading down through the townhouses and villas, complete with wash lines and balconies, to the harbour and fishing boats. You can hear the village chatter, activity and daily lfe. It looks warm, not too hot. Maybe it is siesta time as there are not many people out and about. Or perhaps early morning just as the town is coming to life. There are lovely colours in the print, orange hues , browns, beiges, white, the light blue sea and sky, and a splash of colours in flowers in the foreground. THe print is on off white paper creating its own mount within the lovely retro vintage frame. The frame is white painted wood, with a lovely light green inside edge - it is glazed and ready to hang. There are some flecks inside the glass - not sure what they are. The wood needs a clean up possible, the frame has a few marks and knocks on it too, but it is still in vg vintage condition. A lovely retro vintage picture to display - gives you a nice holiday feeling.
