Marvellous depiction of a fishing boat / row boat in Greece. The pastel was done by Doreen Millar of Fairlight, East Sussex. But the subject matter is from Assos in Kefalonia, Greece. Doreen may have been visiting and captured this wonderful local scene. The fishing boat has been pulled up onto the shore, close to a village. Possibly the fisher folk have finished for the day or maybe it is out of season. It is a pastel and the colours are muted browns, greens and black. Beautifully mounted in a cream card mount, and framed in a vintage light wooden frame. Glazed and ready to hang - has Doreen's details on the back. All in very good condition. minor markings etc commensurate with age - pls zoom in on photos. Wonderful picture to hang somewhere - to remind you on Greece, the seaside, fishing - definite holiday romance type of feel.
