Vintage Pair of Metal Upcycled Ceiling Light Fittings 12 Glass Lampshades

A pair of pleasing and interesting lights fittings that have been upcycled. I bought these at auction and what drew me to them was the simplicity of the style and also over the 30 to 50 years they have been used to finish has worn and deteriorated a little as I can only assume these have been kept in a garage somewhere, because the original finish has slightly eroded and in places has a slight surface rust.
Which is perfect because it was therefore quite easy to wire wool large areas of the spindly surfaces down to the original silver/grey metal surface.
This leaves a really interesting vintage age worn contemporary look.
Take a good look at all of the images because should you want to you could take down even more of the existing finish.
Each fitting has six clipping lamp shades which I hope you can make out in the photos have a sort of brittle effect feel and look to them.
This looks like this is just been taken off a ceiling and unscrewed from the connection and whilst I am selling these as untested and not working I think it is unlikely they will not be perfectly OK as the wiring looks good.
These are great vintage lights because they have a lovely stylish yet unobtrusive shape to them and a hand finished bespoke charm.
