Vintage pair of marble & chrome retro table lamps – black marble bases with arched chrome arms – working order, made by Dana lighting

These are lovely and unusual. A retro pair of arched chrome table lamps, sitting atop black marble slabs with grey veins. Perfect for sitting alongside a retro sofa, or bedside lamps, on a desk or sideboard. These lamps really caught my eye when I was out buying stock. They were hidden underneath other goods and I feel very lucky to have found them. They are different and attractive, stylish. Made by Danalight. The marble is intact – no chips or cracks, just the natural veins and colouring from age and manufacture. The chrome is also in very good use, no visible rust etc, but I must point out that it has got signs in that the chrome has ‘visible marks which are ‘raised’. You can’t really see them unless you peer closely but if you were to run your hands along the chrome you would feel the ‘wear’. Personally I don’t think they detract from the lamps – of course I would say this – but honestly I don’t. I think the overall elegant retro look of these lamps outweighs the marks on the chrome. Please see the photos and make up your mind. The lamps take twist in lightbulbs. You could leave just with bare Edison type lightbulbs, or you could go for a variety of shade types – glass perhaps? The lamps are in working order but they have not been professionally test. Advice for all vintage items is to get them checked and tested.
