Vintage Painted Wooden Mirror in Farrow and Ball Light Blue

A delightful upcycled painted mirror. It would date from the 1980s. The frame is made of solid pine. I have applied an undercoat and then three top coats of Farrow and Ball Borrowed Light Estate eggshell, which is a light duck egg blue.
I have then going over it with wire wool so some of the original finish underneath come through to leave a shabby chic effect. What is quite interesting with this mirror, and I have to say something I've never seen before, is there is a recess behind the actual aperture which I hope you can see in the images and gives this mirror a real unique look and feel.
It is a good quality thick glass. There are marks in places between the glass and the silver mirrored backing which means it does not look perfect, but I would say all that does is add a little bit of aged worn authenticity and is certainly does not affect the reflection.
