Vintage Painted Wall Mirror in Farrow and Ball Wimborne White. Flower Decoration.
A primer has been added and then three coats of Farrow and Ball Estate Eggshell which has a nice soft sheen to it. I have then rubbed it down so the gold underneath shows through and leaves the contemporary finish. Please note this is hand painted so expect minor flaws. However please take a good look at the images and zoom in to check out how lovely the frame is!
I have glanced the brush around the sides so more gold is evident.
Made in the mid 20th century. Made of moulded plaster around a wire frame.
The glass is in good condition.
Originally had a gold finish which had a lot of wear so I decided to paint.
Farrow and Ball tempter-
This just off white is named after the market town of Wimborne in Dorset and home to Farrow & Ball. Only a shade away from a pure white, the addition of the smallest amount of warm yellow pigment creates a very versatile shade which is just a little softer than All White.
Backing and an eyelet for hanging.
