Vintage Painted Silver Metal Finish Standard Lamp Tripod Feet.
I would have thought this is certainly pre-war. Maybe from Europe not the UK.
It is a stunning looking standard lamp and very unusual with an almost triangular tripod base.
It is made of solid wood and some parts have been carved and others maybe composite moulding.
Is is still sporting the original silver painted finish which has a mid-sheen look to it.
The silver is a subtle colour and as you can see in the images the finish is age worn which gives it a real look of authenticity.
It will need rewiring, you can buy the modern reproduction beautiful, braided wire online, I suggest this as you can see in the photos this was the type of wire this originally had.
This is very much a stunning looking standard lamp as well as very unusual look great with a silver white or black lampshade.
