Huge Vintage Painted Shabby Chic Wall or Over Mantel Mirror Bespoke Upcycled. Farrow and Ball Cream.
This is a stunning hand painted upcycled wall mirror.
The mirror is probably 30 to 40 years old.
It is made of solid wood.
It had a very tired dark finish to it, so I decided to paint it and give it a contemporary makeover.
It has been painted in a light cream Farrow and Ball eggshell so it has a soft sheen to it.
It has then been wire wooled to show some of the darker finish and leave a distinctive shabby chic finish. Check the images and use the zoom facility to see close up images of the finish.
It has a good quality bevelled glass mirror which is very well preserved.
It has a boarded backing and 4 eyelets so it can be hung either way.
These large mirrors are fantastic as wall mirrors or over mantels, apart from being great to look at the reflection and the size makes your room look spacier.
