Vintage Victorian Painted Ornate Oval Wall Mirror in Farrow and Ball Wimborne White.
The mirror was made early 20th century.
The carcass of the frame is wood with a moulded covering. I have painted over the original finish.
I have applied a primer and then three coats of Farrow and Ball Wimborne White which has a soft sheen to it. It a very minimal off white cream.
I have then wire woolled the frame so some of the original dark finish underneath comes through and leaves a contemporary shabby chic effect.
The actusl decoration looks amazing, sllek and classy but not too orb=nate so will look great anywhere is a vintage decor home.
It has a boarded backing and very long chain you may well want to cut down.
