This is a very pretty painted mid 20th century standard lamp. It is very good quality, it is made of a hard very attractive standard lamp.
It has been painted in a light cream gloss and this looks to have been accomplished fairly recently as the condition is very good, there are a couple of very thin cracks to the base which is from where the two pieces of wood join, do not worry the actual base is incredibly sturdy and there's no chance of it cracking further.
It has a very long length of three core flex, but as you can see it will need a new bayonet.
With the right shade this will look absolutely fantastic.
