Vintage Painted Bedside or Occasional Chest of Drawers Table in Farrow and Ball White Gold Highlights.
A delightful 1960’s or 70’s painted bedside table.
Elegant look with the cabriole legs, the chamfered sides and ornate handles.
It has been painted in two undercoats and three coats of Wimborne White Estate Eggshell.
I have added some artist gold highlights. This and some of the edges I have wire woolled down to give it a contemporary look.
As you can see in the images the condition is very good with the painting having been recently carried out. It is hand painted so do expect the odd flaw to the finish.
The drawers are clean and all run well. Someone has previously done some work to it and I can only assume it had been stored somewhere damp as the drawers have needed to be sanded down as the side to the right hand of the second drawer down has been somewhat overzealously sanded or planed down and I smoke gap has emerged which you can see in the images.
Apart from that I would consider this piece of furniture to be in very good condition
