Vintage Painted Bamboo with Marble Top Coffee Table
Probably 1980’s.
The base is made of bamboo with decorative what looks like waxed leather strapping. Within the bamboo frame are planks of wood that the marble sits on.
The bamboo is painted in a very light cream/white. This has been wire woolled in places to give it a unique shabby chic finish where lighter hues and some of the bamboo comes through.
The base is in good condition and sturdy.
Lovely very heavy bamboo top. There are some minor chips to the underside that obviously cannot be seen but the edges that you see to the top are fine.
A very attractive table and with the wipe down marble top very practical too!
