A very pretty attractive and gentle painting of spring and summer flowers. Painted in watercolour across the original backing parchment and then also across an oval mount - adds interest and something different to the usual flat painting. Super attention to detail - you can feel the plants in the air and admire their sweetness. The painting is good and is in good condition. The mounts, both the oval and the main thick mount it sits in are an off white, beige colour - possibly a bit faded and spotted in places. The gilt painted wooden frame is in pretty good shape, although one small piece of moulding at top right is missing - there are usual marks etc commensurate with age too. Professionally framed. Very much an 1980s painting and presentation. Delightful. Peaceful and happy painting. Please see photos and video.
