Vintage Original 80s Watercolour Titled ‘Way to the Beach’ Seaside Vista

This is a delightful and very well painted what colour titled ‘Way to the Beach’ painted by an artist called Barbara West. Painted in 1984.
There is some blotchiness between the mount and glass, possibly moisture.
It is a really simple yet imaginative painting with all of the aspects you would expect of a beach with the safety devices indicating the beach starts here.
It has being professionally framed. It is a wooden frame covered in a moated composite with the cream finish. Lovely hand lined thick card quality mount. Both the frame and the mount go brilliantly with the subject matter.
It has a boarded backing with eyelets and wire. The tape is a bit tatty but the picture etc are firmly pinned in so of no consequence.
This is a beautiful painting would look Pamela fantastic if you have a house on the coast.
