Vintage Oak Door With Leaded Light Decoration.
This would look great leaning against a window or of course with hinges still in place use as a project. Lovely quality oak with the leaded light and part obscured glass to the centres.
Very interesting history.
They come off and old bookcase that sadly was ruined.
But you will see in the images the bookcase in it’s prime in the workshop it was built 1923 ? I think earlier.
With it a note…..which I have kept so not included in the price.
This is the bookcase, complete, photographed in the maker’s workshop before it was delivered to Grandpa ( I think when he was about 16- 1923?)
As ever such a shame such beautiful workmanship destroyed but at least some of the doors have been rescued.
