Vintage Municipal Retro Oak Veneer Bookcase on Castors. A Perfect Room Divider.

This could be the perfect thing that you have been looking for!
I would imagine these were made in the 1970s or 80s and would have come out of a library or a school.
They are made of composite word with a lovely golden oak veneer so they have a really lovely retro look to them.
Some of the edges, whilst a little bit rough, have been sanded down and you can see some thin stretches of the composite wood to these edges. There are some marks and scratches and general signs of wear but I would consider the condition as generally very good. That is wear to the four bottom corners and I can only assume this is because it has been moved around a lot on the casters and it has been bashed against skirting board.
This would obviously be absolutely fantastic as a room divider and as it sits on big casters nothing could be more practical if you are forever reconfiguring your house.
Obviously these would have been bookshelves, but they would be perfect storage if you have an artisan business or something akin as it could just be simply wheeled away to an inconspicuous place and pulled out for you to access your tools of trade.
