Vintage Mock Victorian Oil Lamp - electric table lamp, large 53cm tall

What a stunner! A superb replica of an Victorian Antique BRass Oil Lamp, vintage likely from 1980s, and in excellent working order. It is such a great replica that it even has a mock turn key at the top - which in the traditional sense would have turned the wick up or down for burning. Great detail. The rest of the lamp base is solid and sound metal, brass, It has a rustic finish and any markings on the lamp from age, are commensurate with it looking authentically brilliant as an antique. It would look fantastic with an Edison lighbulb (all the rage!), or a large glass ball shade in the opaque or clear. The lamp is working but not professionally tested. It is a good size lamp, so will hold its own in a large room, or a large space - makes a statement!
