Vintage Mid-20th Century Painted Cot Drop Down Side
The cot frame is made of beech and play panels.
The panels have sweet pretty teddy motifs to either side.
I am selling as I found it. It has been painted in gloss and there are some ‘runs’ of paint and other surface marks.
The 8 bolts are rusty but by just surface rust and fit for purpose.
The side can be unbolted and dropped down.
When all bolts are tight the cot is exceedingly robust. Perfectly okay to use, when the base is secured, but certainly not up to todays safety standards
The wood and metal base sits on the lengths of wood to each end.
There is no visible sign of how to secure this so you will need to work out how to do so.
The base has some wear to two ends.
Sold as needing some attention.

It is an absolute charmer. You may want to restore for your own use. Of course, it would make an amazing film or stage prop or a fantastic shop display piece.
It breaks down into 5 pieces and will be sent as such.
