A very lovely classic vintage table lamp made out of green onyx. Lovely swirls and twirls of green, white and brown within this stone lamp. Classic shape with the turned pieces making up the long stem, and then a tiered square base. Great condition table lamp - good medium size 31.5cm tall. Has no wiring, and can be rewired easily, or can be used with a rechargeable bayonet lightbulb - see photos.
Perfect to dress up with a classic vintage shade style - like Empire or Bell shape. Could be a true vintage one you find or have, or it could be a vintage style one in modern fabric. Would also work with other shaped shades like drum if you're looking for a slightly different feel.
As it can be used with a rechargeable, cordless bulb, you can move this lamp around quite easily and not be dependent on the availability of a nearby plug point. The bulb is not included in the price but is definitely worth considering as an option. Always the option or rewiring too.
The condition of this lamp base is very good. Tony rough edges on the base especially the corners, minor marks and scratches to the stem, overall I can't see any large chips nor cracks. There is the hole for the wiring, but otherwise pretty sound condition. Lovely original brass fitment on the top.
