Who remembers these? Great mock leather photo frames standing proudly on the sideboard or mantelpiece. Showcasing school photos, missing teeth and dreadful hairstyles. Or perhaps they houses photos from a wedding? Those lovely retro suits and gowns. Made to look like leather, the leatherette came in various colours, this one is a deep red with gold detail.
We don’t display photographs nowadays and this is wrong. We should take those snaps from the cloud and display them with pride. If you have a retro or mid century themed house, then this frame would fit in well with the décor. Maybe you would display older photos in keeping with the style of the frame, or you would contemporise it with modern snaps, making it a bit more of a talking point.
A great display item which is in very good condition – in fact I am not sure it was ever used. Of course it is used and it would have been stored in a cupboard or drawer – you can see the outer cover has some minor dent marks in it, but the actual photo display mock glass areas look new and the ends or the spine are in vgc. So who knows!

The main oval display area in the middle is for a photo of approx. 7” x 5” so a good traditional size. It is made by Mander Frame Company, as you can see from the inner display area.
