Vintage Mahogany Early 20th Century Coal Scuttle Kindling.
The original lined is lost but these are perfect for kindling or the new fangled composite logs or just fireside storage…matches, firelighters etc.
It has been stripped at some point and a glossy finish applied. This is worn in a few places, notably the left-hand side of the trap door and the left side.
Apart from that it is solid and in good condition.
Lovely turned handle.
