Vintage Mahogany early 20th Century Sutherland Table Cabriole Legs Drop Leaf Extending Space Saver.
A beautiful late Victorian mahogany Sutherland table.
These tables are ever so practical, folding down to such a small size, and being able to be tucked away anywhere.
This one has distinctive cabriole legs and an under shelf which is secured in place by iron brackets which keep the four legs very secure and robust.
The folding out mechanism is made of oak so this table really is of the highest quality.

However, this was almost certainly made in the United Kingdom and exported to South Africa.
The condition on the whole is very good. The base has a few surface marks but I would describe as close to excellent bearing in mind the age.
The top is also very well preserved but there are some idiosyncrasies with some minor markings including a few divets and small but noticeable blemishes, so please take a good look at all of the images and utilise the zoom in facility to have a good look.
