Vintage Mahogany and Brass Benares Table Coffee Side Occasional Decorative Folding. Far Middle East Decor.
This is a beautiful early 20th century benares table.
As is customary with a benares table it folds.
A beautiful top quality hardwood base with ball feet. This is of a very high quality being made of mahogany and is very well built. There are a few surface marks but apart from that it is in very good condition.
Waht a delightful top this is. It is built around a wooden carcass so it looks very thick. Ornate and detailed decoration .
The top is well preserved, you may want to clean so it is a shiny gold, but I know a lot of people will just want to keep it as it is which will mean you won't have to clean it!
There is a small area of oxidisation probably caused by a liquid.
A delightful table, and as well as a coffee table this will fulfil numerous roles around the house.
