A wonderfully retro vintage leatherette pouf in a warm tan shade, decorated with stitched panels and embossed geometric patterns, evocative of classic Moroccan design. This lightweight piece makes a great footstool, floor cushion, or low seat and has bags of nostalgic charm.
Made from faux leather (leatherette), this piece likely dates from the 1970s–80s, possibly made in North Africa or inspired by traditional Moroccan crafts popular in mid-century bohemian interiors. It is a great size, perfect as a foot stool, somewhere to pot bits and bobs (and the cat!) on. Also perfect for a little person to perch on.
It has oodles of charm from years of pre-loved use. It isn't in pristine condition so comes with rustic flaws and signs of loving use. There are in particular two hols on one side where the leatherette has come away, and the underside threading is loose in one place and missing in another. None of these actually detract from what is a very loved, rustic, charming piece of 70s decor.
